TGIF

Hey everybody! All I have to say is THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY! I don't think that I could have been any more bored at work this week if I had literally been watching grass grow, or paint dry, or slugs crawl. Now that's not to say that I didn't have actual work to do, but that's why my job is so great. I can pace myself and still have everything caught up in time for busy season. However, even I am beginning to doubt if my almost glacial pace will be able to win the race this spring. Anywho, I have high hopes that once my P90X dvd's get here I will be exercising up a storm and suddenly have energy out the ass. (What? It could happen.) In the meantime I will continue to count down the days until my new healthy lifestyle (torture) begins. Luckily I have received somewhat of a reprieve due to the unintentional mistake of ordering these dvd's from China instead of the good ol' US of A. So depending on how fast Hong Kong Express Mail is from the People's Rebublic of China, I might be saying "One, Two, Fwee, Fouh" sometime between next week and next year. (If you don't understand the quotations above, repeat out loud with a Jackie Chan accent. You might try pulling your eyes until they slant also.) Anyway, my long drawn out point is that I will be exercising and soon! I will be super hot and skinny ..... someday. I will be - Oh Crap! While I was doing this (and not paying attention to Brayden) he managed to ninja his way into the valentine's day cupcakes I bought for his daycare party. He promptly grabbed one for each hand, licked the icing off of each, and then threw them in the trash! Is this a learning opportunity??? Should I dig them out of the trash and make him eat them to teach him not to waste food ..... On second thought, I just tasted one and I think that we will leave them where they are. Until next time people!

  1. So, how did the P90X thing go? A friend of mine just dropped them off for me to borrow yesterday. I popped in the intro and immediately became scared to death. Then I watched almost the whole first DVD, attempting to interact every once and a while. Not having the chin up bar or basically any of the other gear might make this difficult. lol (or easy, depending on how you look at it. :) Anyway, I'm sure brent will love it since he LOVES working out. (sicko) And I think I'm going to try to follow along as much as I can, just for something else to do. But the warnings about how you have to be super in shape before even starting kind of scare me a bit. Although my friend said her brother in law lost 60 pounds while he was on it. So, I guess we'll see...
